I recently saw in a newsgroup a picture entitled "Stella Stevens TODAY." Then it occurred to me that while that may be appropriate for a newspaper reporting current events, it's not good as a permanent file name. Ten years from now it will still say "Stella Stevens TODAY." That's misleading -- what she looked like ten years ago is not what she looks like today.
I recommend that people give dates to more accurately and honestly report, such as "Terri Welles Glamourcon 2000." It may seem like a trivial matter, but it really counts.
