In "Convenience Store Girls" c1987, a large chunk of the movie was shot on a realistic convenience-store set. We see very clear shots of dozens of the products you would expect to find in any convenience store.
Who pays whom for all that free advertising? Run of the mill porn producers surely didn't have the budgets to pay Proctor & Gamble and all the others for the privilege of helping sell their stuff.
The Caballero boxcover alone shows Tide, Del Monte, Campbell, Coke....
Also, presumably many of the companies selling those products wouldn't have been happy being associated with porn. So wouldn't their lawyers have stepped in and said, "No, you can't do that"?
